Look 31: Al Vulo Skin Group Gift

I am not really a fan of posting some skins and shape on my blog mainly because not all skin and/or shapes are pretty. When it comes to scouting some free or cheap skins, i make sure that it has to be of a good quality and not just a random cheap texture skins. I want it to be the skin that can fit on all types of shapes and sizes. Of course, there are a lot of skin gifts that are available in Al vulo or in Hush every month but some of them aren't really my type. However, for this Al vulo gift of the month, I just fell in love with it. Why? well, because for one, i love the color. It is not too dark nor too white and second of all, the freckles are so cute! i am in love with freckly faces avatars! they're a cute damn thing. 

[Insert story here] I went to al vulo to get the gift and when i went there, a lot of avatars were standing and i wondered what they were waiting for. So when i clicked on the gift, i couldn't get it because i kept getting an error message, that memory are full etc. So i IM the person next to me and she said that she couln't get it as well and that it has something to do with the script, we just have to wait for tomorrow to get it fixed and im like "im not waiting for tomorrow to get that damn gift, I am here so i will get it right here and right now" of course, i didn't say that to her, it was just the thought i had in mind. So i IM the co owner and she called the real owner in RL to get it fixed. so she logged in and reset the script. so thanks to me... all those people in waiting did not have to wait. so we all got it and we lived happily ever after. end of story 

The dress that i am currently wearing is not a free one. It cost me $L275  and i just had to buy it from the Mp because i love cultural prints and patterns. This dress reminds me of India. We all know that lag can be a pain in the butt when you're shopping in world. it's either you're bumping into other avatars or the place won't rezz but don't get wrong, shopping in the Market place can be a bit tricky, we all have experienced buying something that is too expensive but ends up looking like crap. i know, it's a joy killer!!!. A little tip for everyone, when you happen to see something that's really nice but wasn't sure if it's all worth it?, well,try to read the reviews, it really helps...I have always done this, whether it's second life or real life. I always read the reviews before purchasing anything and believe me, it really helps rather than following that "spur-of-the-moment", " I-want-this-that" kind of thing. Look 20: Lost In Fantasy

It's been a week since i last blog about freebies, I have been busy in rl... well ok, i was just too lazy to blog. *giggles* But I am here now! I was busy being an Ephor in Sparta. I am helping with organizing the biggest event that will happen in the SL ancient combat history. Being part of the biggest RP community in Spartan Empire is such a privilege, Because as you all know, Sparta is the number one Ancient greek role play in SL and I am so happy to be in the high ranking councils. It kind of like makes you feel important *winks*. 

I have been juggling and multi tasking, I work 8 hrs a day in RL and studying at night. Blog whenever i can in SL, Join along raids with my spartan brothers & sisters and hanging out with my friends and my sweetheart Satsuki. So, it's been great, i love being busy.

A Bit of Myself

This post will be totally different from all the other post i have been sharing. Why? mainly because i will share bits and pieces of my real life. 

I enjoy writing. Apparently, when the unbearable lightness of the internet hasn't been dominated by our lives yet, i had my pen and my journal with me. I rant, I draw and wrote just about anything else. It became my personal diary. Seemingly, when the internet became a number one source of medium in our personal lives, Blogging was created and back in the days before it became as popular as it is now, i had my first ever blog, It was the Xanga. It became my virtual diary. I had no followers nor readers, my English was bad and it still is but the greatest part of it all was that i do not care! as long as i rant and rave about how my day goes by, i am happy. I do not care if no one reads it. I was the only reader and the follower and had no time inviting people to read.I had a lot of blogs actually and I would be lying if i tell you that this is the only blog i have. I have too many blogs, i jump from a different blogging host to another but a lot of them are pretty much a ghost town now and probably buried in the blogging system community because of how ancient it is. Then i bought my own official domain and was blessed to became a part of the official blogger community in my hometown. Unfortunately, i became inactive and because of that I lost a lot of readers and we all know that when you stop blogging, they will stop reading. Until i realized that i will create another one for SL.

But the truth is, no matter how much i blog about fashion, trends, all the superficial stuff and what not's. i still find myself blogging about life, love and a dash of saas. So to make this story short, I am sorry to inform you that i might add some post that is contrary to what i have been posting. You might see me blogging about things that are not SL related. But of course, freebies will remain as a majority of the post. I do not know how to end this but i will end this now. Poof*

Hey there lovies! Today, i went on a hunt that was organized by the depraved nation  starting from Sept 15 to Oct 15. So be sure to check that out. FYI: you have to look for that round wooden thing with a leaf on it.

What i like about this hunt is that you don't need to join groups and it doesn't cost you anything. Kudos for that! Since, i exceeded the amount of groups to join, :( SL should work on that issue, I had to leave the other groups so that i could have space for others. which sucks by the way. anyways, enough for chit chat's.
